    Hello everyone,
I had trouble deciding which forum to create this thread in.. Ancients, World or US Coins..

This is a neat purchase I made at a Coin Shop located in Wind Gap Pennsylvania recently. It's a Coin Book printed in 1939. Published by The Numismatic Company of Texas
    Picked it up for $10.00

The title is the following -
    The Star
    Rare Coin Encyclopedia
    And
    Premium Catalog
    An Elaborate Encyclopedia Of The
    Coins of The World
    Price ONE DOLLAR

Look at the selling prices in 1939!

Almost identical to the one I recently posted. They are neat. I've enjoyed looking through mine.

I will gladly take the special offer for $14.25. In fact, I will take 10 sets.

I'm in south central PA. Mine is only 3 years older but these books are really cool. I love looking through them as I'm sure you do.

Sure, but remember to bring old (pre-1939) cash back with you so you can buy things. Otherwise, they are going to look at your new-design paper and coins with suspicion, your credit card will be of no use, and offering to use Venmo or Apple Pay will just get you confused looks.
