I had originally posted some images of a coin with some questions on the type of (what I thought to be machine) doubling I was seeing on the specimen. Well after inspection and necessary contrast between the coin and known examples of 1966 DDO FS-101 I am around 60% sure it is a match, but an early die state versus the MDS and LDS examples of the variety which have been documented very well by Wexler’s & Copper Coins and an unusually meager documentation by CONECA @ Varietyvista. I say 60% sure because I am only 5 years into my journey as a numismatist. I would be 100% sure, but I have been wrong so many times before that I have become hesitant to be sure of anything in this hobby. Anyways here are my latest improvement on the photos so that hopefully I can get a positive (or negative) answer on my analysis of the identity of the example. (I am posting this because the original thread is dead and I could garner no response due to my being too slow to post the images a user requested of me)
