Hello everyone,i would like your help if you could help me identify the age of this coin.It belongs to my family for ages so i would appreciate if you can help,i have a photo of one side of the coin because from the other i cant see nothing,its copper
The design looks like it is from the Byzantine Empire, which ended with the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453. Unfortunately I don't specialize in Byzantine, that's as specific as I can get. Maybe one of our other members can narrow it down further if you post in the Ancients section here.
Agree with @Parthicus and do believe this one can be attributed to the Byzantine era which could make it from 700 to about 1700 years old. It's going to take a real sleuth to narrow it down further with so many details worn away.
I have tried to find out more information but is so difficult,it looks similar like coins from byzantine empire the ages 1201
