Did some research and there was a listing for a Susan B. Anthony that weighed 10. 81 g. So would this be a wrong planted and wrong metal error??? 20210322_233316.jpg 20210322_233356.jpg 20210322_233039.jpg

Impossible combination. In 1972 there was no SBA dollar coin. They only started minting them in 1979. The Kennedy is dated 1972, how could that be paired with a SBA planchet?

Coin is just slightly out of tolerance (minimum tolerance weight being 10.886 grams) .05 grams light. So almost certainly a rolled thin planchet, but not far enough out of tolerance to command a premium.

The planchet fell through a timewarp in the press, c'mon man.

Please don’t over think this. It was struck on a half dollar planchet that was slightly underweight (strip rolled too thin). It CAN”T be any of the wrong strip stock you referenced. Your coin is dated 1972 and they did not start making SBAs until 1979. The other weight you highlighted is for a quarter planchet punched from 90% silver dollar stock.

Technically, you coin is an error, but as @Conder101 said, it would be tough to find someone to pay a premium.

The actual weight of the coin is very likely within tolerance. I’d bet the difference is due to the (lack of) precision in this scale.

Minor planchet error, not worth much more than face value. Good luck
