Watch out ! There is a serie of cast fakes with an edge crack at 2 o'clock on the obverse and a part of the V missing.......see Fake Coins Report.....
Yes, that would have been my thought as well. The letters are too crisp and the fields are too evenly flat - it looks like the coin is pressed not struck. The style of Vespasian's portrait is also a bit off.
