What have I got here?

I don't mean to clutter this thread up, and this is my first post, so maybe I can be forgiven? I don't know what I have here or where they came from. Some might be WWll items picked up by my Dad or my Father-in-law, but they're in the great beyond now. I'm showing both obverses and reverses. I'm not expecting an Antiques Roadshow type of appraisal to tell me I have something worth $300,000. Any thoughts of what might be closest? Maybe I should I just bury them in rolls of pennies or nickels or dimes or quarters which I turn in?

I don't collect foreign coins, so I can't help you identifying them. There are others who can.

Personally, I don't think much of someone who dumps them on someone else by "burying" them in a roll of US coins.

Most of the coins are from Egypt. On the bottom row, rightmost is from China and second-from-right (with the grapes) is from Israel. I am busy right now but could look up details later.

Relax and be calm - that was a tongue in cheek suggestion about burying any in rolls.

Thanks for these leads my friends - my Dad got to India, Burma, Ceylon & Pakistan - I suspect that's where some came from. I'm just going to put them in cardboard holders, with thes helpful thoughts to accompany them on their next travels. I'm not interested and don't worry - none of you will find them in your next roll searches.

If you use holders that require staples, squeeze the staples with a
pair of pliers so they won't damage any nearby friends.
