    Jefferson's are definitely not my area but I'll have a go anyway. I'll be a bit of an outlier and call it 62, no FS. I just think the relatively heavy marks in all the prime focal areas are too much for a higher grade. Nice luster, though.

    Nobody was very close. While the photo does hide the hairlines, they are visible in the upper reverse left field.

    As several people pointed out, it is the large S variety. I was hoping to make this my album coin if the cleaning was minor, alas, this will have to go up on the block soon.

    FWIW, if it weren’t cleaned, I would grade the coin MS62, it is very baggy.

    No, we had a 1953 last year and a 38-D last month that both graded details for wheel damage.
