The quid has a bit of rust on it, but is rather typical for condition from NI during that era - notes saw long long circulation. The tenner is pretty nice but I would love to see a reverse image of the note - that is where most of the condition is determined from my perspective because it is where the paper breaks from circulation appear first. The Provincial notes are fascinating because of the depiction of Hibernia seated with Britannia, a vignette that surely would have been impossible to circulate later. NI notes can be very political and as such they were often defaced by one or another parties to the conflict there - making it hard to collect nice original notes without X's over watermarks etc. I have a decent sized collection of Irish and Northern Irish notes myself, lots of notes with feminine vignettes makes for a great place to collect from when you collect notes with pretty young ladies.
