Watts Creek Jellico Coal Company Town: Wofford County: Whitley State: Kentucky Years of Operation: 1905-1915 But this may or may not be the same one.
It appears that token could have been used in either of two stores affiliated with the Watts Creek Jellico Coal Co. Store W285 was the Lee F. Gatliff Store, and store W286 was the G. Bummett Store. Both of those stores were also in Wofford, Ky in Whitley County. The Watts Creek Jellico Coal Company only employed 60 miners, so it was not a large operation, and that is reflected in the value of the token. My 1971 reference listed the value for this token at $3.00, when the range for all coal co. tokens went from .25 to 8.00.
