As anyone who has read my posts would probably guess, I am no fan of the mint, BUT...I got my 2 Legacy Sets today and they are beyond my expectations. I looked at them with a 10x magnifier and can find NOTHING wrong with a single coin. Packaging, coins... the whole shebang is first rate. My only complaint was that they were in a box rattling around with no packing material. Luckily the corners of the sets did not get banged up.
Als Got mine yesterday. I went right for the mag myself (bought two silver proof Justice 1$'s from the mint and they were yougly). I studied them all evening, the ALS was beautiful and I am happy to have added it to my collection. Packaging was prime as well. I do buy from the mint, but I never count on them, they have cancelled too many of my confirmed purchases with no valid reason.
sjnebay was lucky, not only were the corners of the outer sleeve of my Legacy set a little banged up, the coins are not the greatest either... a couple of the coins look like there are smudges on them, and the dime has a crack/some kinda damage to the head of the dead president =( I dont have a magnifying glass here, i will take a real close look (30x) when i get home to see exactly what it is....
