Hello all. I am in the process of creating a rough working grading scale for all US coins. My goal is to have pictures of every coin in the different grades. I have most the common coins already completed but some of the coins I still need to complete this grading scale. I am hoping this will help new coin collectors aid in determining their coins grade.

I am in search for Barber Half Dollars of ALL grades. I would only need a scan of the front/back. I appreciate everyone’s help.

There are numerous other web sites where you could acquire this info. For example try www.coppercoins.com and just ask for permission to use some or all of thier photos. There are numerous other dealer web sites that specialize in certain types of coins. For example jmscoins for Ike dollars. ebay itself may produce numerous photos of coins but most would be faked probably. There are books on grading out there already which also could produce many of the photos you are looking for.
Natually you will require both obverse and reverses though since a true grade could not be specified without both sides being graded. I suppose this would eventually become a book. If so, are you planning on publishing it or just putting it on the internet?

Didn't Bowers just put out a book like this?
It would be a tough go to compete with him, I would think.

Doesn't "Photograde" do the same thing?

Never heard of Photograde. I just looked it up and it seems like a great book to get. Thanks
