I'll do my best to help, but without pics to help determine their condition all we can do is guesstimate based on the following Krause values:

    1- KM#831Spain, XF=3.50, Unc=9.00, BU=11.00
2- KM#938, Gr. Britain, this 10 pence was only sold in sets I think. Unc=2.75, PR=3.50
    3- KM#990Spain, Unc=.70, BU=.80
    4- ??
    5- KM#989Spain, Unc=1.50, BU=2.25
    6- KM#964, Gr. Britain, Unc=4.00, BU=5.50, PR=6.00
    7- KM#939, Gr. Britain, XF=.45, Unc=.75

Good luck...and post some pics if you can.

Both large and small sized 10 pence were issued in 1992. The large sized were indeed only issued for sets, but the smaller size were issued for circulation, with a mintage of 1.4 BILLION.

Doh! Large OR small sizes...*sigh*, that's what I get for trying to check my book in between rabid kids running through my house, playing referee over Pokemon cards AND trying to make dinner.

    Thanks for the clarification kuhli.

As for the "APAXMEE", that is Greek indeed. Actually it's "drachmes" in Greek characters. That 100 drachmes circulation coin shows King Alexander. The inscription on that side says "Megas Alexandros" (Alexander the Great) and below "Basileus Makedonon" (Macedonian King). The text "Elliniki Dimokratia" on the other side means "Greek Republic"; the word "Vergina" refers to the star of Vergina in the center, a symbol of the ancient Macedonian kings.

Christian, the Star of Vergina is on the flag of the former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia.

Yes, the flag of that country used to have a star of Vergina, much like the one on the coin. But the flag that the FYR Macedonia currently uses is a little different - a stylized sun.
