Any thoughts on this? I have a few birthplace Lincoln mint roll sets and they are selling at about $80. Anyone think that these have any more upside or is this it?

The massive hoarding of all types of the new Lincoln Cents will make them worth about 5 cents each in a thousand years. Way to may people are hoading coins thinking that they are the only ones and in the future they will make a fortune on that. At coin shows I see more and more dealers selling rolls of uncirculated coins where they used to sell individual coins. Don't know where they get them but I've seen dealers with hundreds of rolls on thier tables of the new Lincoln Cents.

I think that is it. I've got a bunch to sell as well but I'm waiting for the 4th coin to come out next month. I'll sell all 4 issues in unopened mint boxes for a starting bid of $120 and see if I get any nibbles.

In the end it's just $1.00 worth of cents but those folks who like to pay money for paper wrappers will shell out some cash for a little while longer. Eventually, they will get smart and catch on ..but hopefully, after I make a few dollars.

The buzz kill would be if the mint came out with an 8 roll set (P&D of each issue) in mint wrappers for Christmas for $39.95.
