Been a while since I have been on. I forgot some punctuation. It was supposed to read: Not sure? But, I would like one though. I am not sure if setting them on a reverse die would help a whole lot considering that one would still have to eliminate the bounce.so that you don't create flat doubling on the other side.

You know, I've been studying a few of the Wilson "Novodels" being sold by Jeff Shevlin. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but the strikes being sold as "Silver Select Triple Struck Off-Center" really seem to have been struck FOUR times . . . . There appears to be a "base strike" creating a "host coin," then there are three more overstrikes, each off center to varying degrees. See my screen grabs below for a few examples from different photos of these that I have run across. I have circled the position of the word THE in the legend of each strike to illustrate. My OCD just made me post this clarification. The "Triple Struck Off-Centers" are really all "Quad Struck, Triple Off-Centers" . . . . YMMV. Z
How about a blast from the past? Not Daniel Carr's latest, but . . . . . . DC-Coin / Moonlight Mint - 10 Years Ago today . . . . . . . .
Oh yeah . . . . . Received my 1921-D Engraved Morgan Dollar over-strike today! Enough of the underlying host coin is visible, and properly oriented, that it looks like the eagle's head and wings on the reverse and Liberty on the obverse are heavily DDO / DDR. Take a look! Z A few closeups . . . . . . . .
New Products Alert Palladium strikes are up on the Moonlight Mint website! Oh yeah, here's the link . . . . . . http://www.dc-coin.com/ Z
