Here 4 /1oz 14kt Rose gold from 1966 Franklin mint medallion I just picked up http://www.cointalk.com/t75079/
a thread with a link to a thread - ingenious lol those are some nice looking medals! How much gold is in each? I understand they are 14kt, but are they plated, solid ect?
so, if one ounce of 14KT @ $1055 gold each is worth $615.42. How much did you pay? Hopefully below melt? And, I presume that you didn't cherrypick them as copper?
lucky? You bid on it. I did not. you used your brains, and knowledge. i did not. Therefore, not lucky, knowledgeable.
A common alloy for rose gold is 75% gold and 25% copper by mass (18 carat). Since rose gold is an alloy, there is therefore no such thing as "pure rose gold". rose gold
Thanks for the info! but did not get a code# with them just the try type holder that was made back in 1966:smile
