I'm not sure if this is a world coin, ancient or what, so I'm listing it here. Sorry there are so few details, but thought someone might recognize the pattern. If it helps, this was discovered by a metal detector in Georgia, so possibly confederate? Thanks.

Ancient Rome. Emperor Aurelian, reverse FORTVNA REDVX. Mintmark not legible.

Before anyone flips about a Roman coin being discovered in Georgia, this is precisely the type and quality that some playful collectors will scatter to confuse archaeologists. (It doesn't work)

Thanks for solving my mystery. This was found at an old homesite(demolished around the turn of the 20th century.)

Proof that Georgia was the lost Atlantis; thus the capital being called Atlanta.
