74 Kennedy error?

I just looked closely at a 1974 D kenndey to see if it was a double die, i looked at the reverse just incase and saw that on the eagle's left thigh there is a clear D on it... any guesses? die clash? Post mint damage? =\

We'll need to see pics. Is the D incuse or raised? Is the same size as other characters on the coin?

 

There is a doubled die listed for the '74 Denver mint half. Is the mark on the eagle's right thigh or the right thigh on the half reverse?
