And which are you calling the beauty and the beast? Cause I really like the 1813 so much more than the 1846.

A good set to complete. Are you doing a date set, or are you attributing them, or just including a few varieties? I am doing a dansco album and a few of the varieties are tough to find. Still have not decided what I am putting in the plain 1839 - since I do not think the 1839/6 is worth the cost.

PS - Thanks Eduard and others.

    Date set

Hi Mark, I am doing a Date set, too many varieties for me to even attempt. Although Large Cents are a favorite I am working on a couple other sets too, just can't have everything I guess. Mine are not in an album yet but I am going to use a blank album and pages for these. Hate empty holes !

Here's my offering. Not a great grade but it is an oldie.

Well - I know what you mean. That 1857 on the last page looks so lonely. Not sure what I will add - probably some of the more common varieties not included in the album itself.

    Nice one Phil.

That's the first square large cent I've ever seen. Neat!

A few bucks, but as mentioned a square is cool. And I still stand by what I said - truthfully. That one has a coolness factor you probably did not anticipate.
