Anyone have any pictures od their coins I can use for my History Research Paper?

I am in need of post-colonials, Colonials, and early coinage (up to about 1850)

I know I can probably find most of them off the interenet or in redbook, but I need to have the sources, and I am sure I'll need permission due to copyright laws.

    thanks in advance

Look in Heritage. They have given permission to use their photos so long as they are given credit for them. There is a thread here somewhere with someone from Heritage stating so.

Right now I'm looking for the most used pre colonials, the most used colonials, and the earliest official USA coins.

mainly pre 19th century. I may go a little bit into the 19th century if I can find anything to make my case (which is, I am writing about how we got our designs for our first coins).

Thanks for the link Leadfoot and all the others who PM'd me pics.

I think I have what I need, I got permission to use ancients off of a freind to compare similarities, so I should be okay as far as US stuff goes.

I am still in need of some Colonial pics though, if anyone can provide some.

    thanks :D

Sure wish I had some but I seldom photo coins. I know you must have thought of this already but what about using the Red Book for those photos? I'm sure if you contacted Dennis Tucker, Publisher of Whitman Books, he would gladly give you permission to use all the photos you need. That company is usually very cooperative with such projects.
I suppose your going to post that paper here for us to make our suggestions, right?

Probably not. I don't want the professer to think I plagerized it, as she doesn't know me as "stainless"..lol.

I think I don't even have to ask for permission if it is for educational purposes, from what I have been reading, but better to be safe than sorry.
