These coins should have a hole in the center, this one must have missed the press, and has no hole
Is this coin any good, is this error common ?
    Thanks

It is an interesting coin. I also can't add anything as far as information on it but you are right, it's supposed to have a hole.

    Thanks,
    Bill

The only other one I've ever seen without a hole was an off-center struck error dated 1963. Since it was an error in the first place, the hole missing added to the interest of that coin.

I've never seen one that looked completely normal that wasn't holed. I don't know how rare it is but it definitely falls into the "take your time and do some fun research" category.

There may not be many of them out there that you can compare this one to and that makes it difficult when trying to estimate a value.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Wonderful coin -

I have one that the hole is struck off center and you can view the coin in the What its worth section.

If anyone can give values to these odd coins I would greatly appreciate it.

I almost sure they were minted with the hole in them.
