Cool, my set shipped too

 

did you get any updated status as shipping yet? many who ordered early on the day of release are starting to receive updates that the sets are shipping early, 10/20 as opposed to 10/30 as the Mint 'expected' to ship by.

 

Yes, mine shipped today also.

If previous Mint orders are any indicator, I should receive a tracking number tomorrow.

UHR orders notwithstanding, of course.

 

Mine is scheduled for a saturday delivery.

 

LN6 Set Order

Of the four sets that I ordered through myself and friends,
One is being shipped, two are in stock and reserved and the
fourth got bumped to a standby. So that's not bad for two
hours work. Three were ordered by internet and the last
by phone. Go figure, the phone order was the first to ship out!

 

Got e-mail confirmation this morning that my set was shipped yesterday.

 

ln6 was shipped yesterday and I have tracking. Sam

 

Pretty Nice
Comes in an outer White sleeve, and the set itself is kind of like a coin album with the outer sleeve cover. Sorry about the pics, I'm no photographer.

Do you like it? love it? indifferent? want to sell it? flip it?... any initial thoughts seeing it in hand? Any spots on copper? Did they insert the 'tarnish' note with the set? hya:

Thanks. There is not any note, just the COA and invoice. I don't see any tarnishing on the coins though, and finally, I get some 2009 cents without any spots!
The album part looks just like a Dansco album, and the part around the coins is a brown velvet. I'm pretty happy with it. The coins are not straight, but that is easily remedied. Guess they turned in shipping. I'll probably just keep it. Take it to the bank and put it in one of my safety deposit boxes.
That's one thing about collecting, wish I could keep 'em all at home to enjoy all the time. I have waaaaayyy to much stuff to keep at home. Maybe someday I'll breakdown and get one of those huge gunsafes.

Was the set in a sealed box or just wrapped with packing paper ???

It came in the shipping box, with the mint packing on the bottom. The set itself is not sealed. It has a white cover that the set slides into. Reminds me of a Dansco album with the cover.

After one of my three were canceled, and one placed "on hold", I was nervous. But, I now have one that has been shipped D: and the other one "in process."
