  6. Cool! How did something like that happen? And would it have circulated back then, or would it have been pulled aside for being an error?

    that link above should explain it pretty good.


    They most likely, if not caught before being released were circulated. Technically (from my understanding) coins with errors this severe in ancient times were to be tossed aside and tried again, otherwise it was off with the head.
