Just bought these two gorgeous beauties from Teletrade. The first is a gorgeous RB 50 centimes, graded MS-64RB by old Anacs. The obverse is mostly red, but the reverse is really where the beauty of this coin comes forth. The bright cherry red left transitions to a gorgeous deep orange, then fades to pink, and finally lustrous brown. It is absolutely delightful. As some of you know, Uncirculated copper of this series (Free French WWII colonial copper) is incredibly hard to find - and then to find it in Red or Red Brown is amazingly difficult. I personally feel this coin is undergraded, and could easily cross to a 65. The second piece is a beautifully toned NGC MS-63BN 1 franc, accurately graded. The reverse is a beautifully lustrous mostly-brown, with red highlights in the protected areas. The obverse of this one though - mmmmmm..... I'm finding it hard to describe, so just take a look at the pictures for yourself!
