Check on the internet. A search using www.webcrawler.com located a few coin clubs in Nebraska. Due to what I perceive to be a low statewide population density in your state, I would assume that there are few coin clubs, and those that exist are probably only in the larger cities, although I would be the first to admit that I could just be full of hot air.

Your state club appears to be the Nebraska Numismatic Association. Perhaps they could be of assistance in locating a local club for you.

Ask any dealer near where you live. They will likely have a line on where to go.

As I have told you, I have actually been to Grand Island. The Omaha Coin Club is one of the oldest in the Midwest although that would be a good drive, I know. You might contact them to see if they are award of anything closer to you. I also know that there is a dealer that advertises in Coinage and the other coin magazines that is in Kearney. One of my relatives also told me that a dealer opened up a store in Hastings last year I believe.

Good luck! Sorry about the Huskers yesterday (unless you are one of the three people in Nebraska that doesn't follow the Nebraska football team).

I was away in Nebraska for a year on business and frequented some of these .

If by chance you don't find any of these within your reach, perhaps it is time for you to start a "Coin Club" in your neck of the woods. Good Luck, let us know how you make out.

Search google for "Nebraska coin club" (including quotes). You may want to search for your city in Nebraska so you don't end up traveling an hour to get there, which brings me to your second option and that is search craigslist in both the collectables section and the "groups" section. If you do not find one there, you can always start a coin club yourself, and if you think your too young or not an experienced enough collector to start a club yourself, I'm considering starting a coin club myself in my area, and I'm only 21 and although my knowledge pales in comparison to the dealers who have been selling coins for 40 years or more, I do have alot of knowledge about coins and commodities for someone my age and that's because I'm passionate about coins and commodities (more specifically silver coins and bullion and pre-1982 copper pennies)

ANA website has a listing, but calling a few dealers would be just as good.
