It's hard to tell and 52S cents seem to have a ton of RPMs but I think this may be one of them. I think it looks close to #12 but it does not seem to have the same markers. #25 is also close. Thoughts - Thanks

I'm not seeing splits in the serifs in the photographs...

Regardless, I checked 012 and the MM position is wrong, so it cannot be 012; I do not have an example or an illustration on hand of 025 to check positioning.

I see the "repunch" appearance to the south of the center portion of the mm, but it appears to be Die (punch) deterioration/damage. First due to its relative flatness, and secondly, while it is not unusual to only see a true repunch only on the top or bottom ( due to slightly tilted mm die when restruck), it is unusual to see it only with the center section and neither the top or bottom of the mm, and I don't see any sign of either top or bottom. IMO.

Thanks Jim - The microscope tends to flatten images out a bit but it may be deterioration. I have marked up (crudely) what I see.

    Thanks again ~ Darryl

If you're seeing something there how about -016. Anything where I marked in yellow?

    Hi,

It does not appear to be an RPM.

    Thanks,
    Bill
