For double that price, or less, you can put together the proof set. That's what I'm working on and I'm jealous 'cause I need the 95-W and can't afford itright now. My offer of $1000 still stands (JK, LOL).

The proof coins cost about double the uncs, and they look 10X better. I'm gonna have a killer wall display one of these days...might be '95-W free though.

Congrats on your purchase...it looks awesome. Forget the $5K deal. You are holding the greatness in your hands...don't give it up.

Here is the break down of what a complete UNC set looks like.....

24 coins in the series.... 1986-2009
+
3 W UNC coins...... 2006-2008
+
1 Millennium ASE.....2000
+
1 2008/2007 rev

= complete UNC ASE set

If all you are getting is the 24 coins then the cost per coin is $27.50 which is good....really good actually. If you can get the 3 W coins, even better. The millennium coin will cost around $50-$75 and the 08/07 rev price will vary around $400-600.

I just completed my UNC set and I am quite pleased. Its a gorgeous set. Now time to start working on my proofs. Also, when you are ready for a 08/07 rev, drop me a pm...I may be able to help you. :smile

 

For the COMPLETE collection, you would also need the gold plated, platinum plated, colorized and Obama stickers.

Nice coin - about the only one I really need. That and the 2008 reverse of 2007 - not needed (or last time I looked) on the PCGS set.
