No, its down for real. They normally have the pages updated within < 1 minute or so after 12 Noon est. It may just be "DOS" but it is not about updating the site.

Just got home at 12:10 p.m., logged on and what do you know - Service Unavailable - whatever that means.

 

it means there a lot of traffic on the site

The lady mentioned that it has been backordered already. Expect it 4-6 weeks.

I cant get on the website and they wont answer the phone. I swear if they sells out of this before i order im throwing all my coins down a gutter and im done.

At 12:17 I finished my order.

When I went to check out, it said my log-on had expired b/c I had been on for 30 minutes . . . so I had to re-log on. Neverthless, the process I started at 12:04 finally finished by 12:17.

Phew!

 

That's common. I ordered the 4 pc Lincoln Proof set August 26th on the day of release and that won't come until November.

 

Well... :smile finally I got my order placed via the website and received my confirmation email. Does feel a bit like :headbang: knowing that their website will not be ready for our onslaught. I wonder how many people the home shopping shows have hired to order these for all their "households".

 

Between check out page 4 and 5 now, almost had a snag on page 3 with a blank screen that said page was finished downloading... oh wait... now downloading the final step, step 6 Order Receipt.... almost there
