Here is a nice 1971P DDO-002 (CDDO-001, 1DO-002, WDDO-002), an acquisition from when I had still had money to spend - LOL. It exhibits CW class I doubling seen on all outer devices and part of the hair; strongest in LIBERTY and INGWT. Stronger than '72 DDO-006, closer to the spread on '72 DDO-007 (just with CW doubling instead of CCW). Having added die 3 to my collection I now have all four of the DDOs listed by CONECA:

I'm going to go with this thread and add a few more '71 DDOs...

    1971P DDO-001 (WDDO-001, CDDO-007 & 1DO-001), class II:

    1971p ddo-003 (3-o-i)

1971P DDO-003 (WDDO-003, CDDO-006) has a class I CCW rotated spread that is wider than 002 in IGWT, but weaker in LIBERTY and the date.

    1971p ddo-004 (4-o-i)

...And finally 1971P DDO-004 class I, CCW. Certainly the weakest of the 4 '71 DDOs, but still nice and hard to locate:

Very nice collection and a nicely organized post.
In the 003 photos of "WE", is that a die chip on the bottom vertical of the "E" ? Is it considered a marker for that variety?

    Thanks

I don't believe so, appears to be some sort of dirt on the coin.

    Markers:

    Markers:
Some of the markers I can note are:

DDO-001: Has multiple, primarily vertical die scratches that run through LIBERTY, around the portrait – then switching to a NW-SE direction on the east side of the portrait that run down through the date (Coppercoins has good pictures of this). This variety is often reported to have an obverse MAD (this includes both of my MDS examples).

DDO-002: This variety has very few markers outside of the pattern of doubling. Wexler notes (K. Flynn & J. Wexler, The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents, 1996) that there is a small horizontal die crack just below the VDB (found on my example). Coppercoins lists several die scratches (not found on my example).

DDO-003: Another variety with few markers. Wexler notes that there is a crack from behind the ear, through the hair, ending below the E of WE (just observable on my example). This variety is not currently illustrated on Coppercoins.

DDO-004: While the doubling is hard to detect without proper magnification and a valid method of examination, there are several markers. Wexler notes the presence of (and seen in my pictures) of diagonal die scratches east of the eye. Wexler also notes a diagonal scratch above the Y in LIBERTY. Coppercoins (currently listed as 1DO-003) notes numerous E-W die scratches throughout the reverse.

A comparative grouping of the four DDOs:
