I guess this is total confidence that they will have in hand at the end of the day tomorrow at least one Chronicles set. Presale prices going from $168 to $1,000. I think the $1,000 per set is some guys wishful thinking. I think when the dust settles they'll be in the $150 +/- range.
Between Friday (day after sell out) and Monday afternoon ...this will be the time to sell to maximize your profit. ..by Thanksgiving ..these will be $56.00 again.
Maybe Civil War buffs would be willing to pay a healthy premium for one of these sets but it won't be that high on the list of the coin collectors unless they are just nuts to get one of the sold out Lincoln comm. dollars!!
