Uh Oh, It finally happened...Legacy Set is unavailable

Looks like the Legacy Set is no longer available at the Mint web site any more. We must have reached the limit on the Marines Commem.

Sound the alarm

Dangit....I just checked my ship date on the Legacy set and they moved me back to 11/15...what's wrong with those guys???

I ordered 2 sets and now they are saying sometime in the middle of November too... I say we will be lucky to get them this year...\

I received my Marine commemoratives just fine.

 

My are in "stock and reserved" so that means they'll arrive Wed. this week....and the email telling me they will be shipping out should arrive on Thurs. Been like that all year.

Here's the question, when did the Mint reduce the number of sets from 100,000 to 50,000? Or is my memory slipping its always been limited to 50,000? Not that I'm complaining mind you, all the better for me. Just curious.

 

they did not really announce it ... but it was about 2 weesks ago.. they wanted to free up some more single proof Marine comm...

Well I was right...my sets arrived today (Wed)....now lets see how long it takes for the email to come in .

This is probably the ONLY set this year that the Mint really out-did themselves on. Its a stunning set and beautiful display. The display opens up and supports itself like a picture frame. The entire thing comes in a matching tag board sleeve. The coins I received are of exceptional quality (make the silver sets I have look a bit junky).

To all of you still waiting on your set(s)...its WELL worth the wait.

To those of you who passed on the set......well...I guess its better just not to know what you're missing

 

Oh great....I still have to wait two more months for mine and you've made that wait much harder lawdog

 

Wow!! Is correct. What a nice set...I just received mine yesterday. I wish I had ordered 2 of them!!

American Legacy Collection

Received my two American Legacy sets today. My original order was placed June 20.

 

I got mine yesterday. Order was placed on the first day of availability.
