Are these bad coins

    I have beebn getting some coins in pocket change , that have some of the coating off slightly blistred . I do not think these coins have been dippedsome are early 2000. Any idea what this is ? Is there any value?:eek:dd:

    Wish idid but not at this time , i have been saving them. Will take pictures as soon as i get one. I worked in a brass mill, it looks like what we called orange peel.

    I see bubbled zinc coins all the time. I assume some of it is from flaws in the plating process or a product of corrosion. Some of them appear to have been from heat or chemical reaction. I chunk em in the zinc culls bucket.

    Here is an interesting set of bubbles I found last week. Thought it my be a die crack but I have been told it is the result of gas bubbles during the plating process. I have not chunked this one because I think it is kinda cool.

    I read the title and my first thought was, "there is no such thing as a bad coin". So thats my answer.
