I have a turkiye lira coin with 1000000 on the back. It is 2002 date. I have been told it isn't worth anything, send it to this place and no these people don't do anything and so forth. I am trying to find out asap, because I won't be on the computer for long. Have to go and take care of daughter and new baby. Please help asap. THanks.
I'm not sure but I think its worth $0.74....at XE.com that is what it says...now if its a "new" and I think the NEW is only this year or last before they devalued they money it might be worth more... I'm sure someone will be by soon that will know better than I do. Speedy
Hi floretm, and welcome to the forum. A 1-million Lira coin was exchangeable to a 1 New Lira in the latest Turkish devaluation. The new lira are worth a little under 75¢ at current exchange rates.
