Just bought this beautiful album today from a respected forum member and want to maybe fill it up with some certified U.S coins. It's a great album to holster certified coins.

    I have an 1885-cc morgan, 1927-1928 peace dollar, 1918 lincoln commem, 1913 d type 2 buffalo, 1914 $2.5 indian head, and a 1921 d merc.

What should I add to it? ;)

How about a 1946 Inverted "S" lincoln cent. Would fit perfectly...

Anything that I'm selling on eBay would fit in your collection perfectly... trust me... I promise... I'll even ship it directly from me, not through a third party... and I'll even respond to most of your emails. ;)

A MS65 1960 D/D sm/lg date DDO, ( RPM-100) Lincoln Cent. Where else can you get such a spectacular DDO, designed doubled, widely separated RPM, to show in one coin.

A 1955 doubled die cent. Just for fun put a Poor Man's doubled die beside it.:)

A nice little large cent - kind of like this one on ebay. Something a little older than that modern stuff. :)

Ignor them all. Go for a MS graded 1913 Liberty Head Nickel. :goofer:
Can't find one? Then contact someone in China and they'll start making them for you.

You need a high-grade Walking Liberty half dollar. In my opinion, if there is one coin that is iconic of America and would fit into a collection of 20th-century-era U.S. coins like yours, it's a Walker....

A nice proof liberty nickel early 1900s. It'd fit right in.

Basically, the best advice I can give you on this topic is to not listen to anyone here!!!!! (except for me in this post of course).... ;)

Just buy what you like because they're your coins. We can all tell you what we like, but that should matter as much. If you don't know what you like yet, then you're not ready to buy. Flip through your Redbook or browse the collections of others and when you come across something that catches your eye, do a little research and then you'll know what the next coin to fill your album will be.

When I look at those coins, there is a theme which starts to emerge... an early 20th century type set.

For me, I would lose the Morgan, then add other coins from that era, such as Standing Liberty 25c, Walking Liberty 50c, $5 Indian, $10 Indian, and $20 Saint. The golden age !

For a copper... I've always thought the Indian was much more attractive, but the Lincoln was the new, up-and-coming design
