    I discovered the MAX photo pix & file size cure. I've posted this elsewhere here before but it is a great FREE spamless Swiss Army Knife for image messaging.

    Just my luck. After I posted the previous link I noticed there was a NEW Version of IrfanView so I downloaded it.

    4.25 Version seems to have some unwanted "extras" in it.

    I reverted to leaner/cleaner Version 4.23.

    Bill look, you need to give us specifics if you want to figure it out. We've all told you, repeatedly, what to do to make it work. But somehow it isn't sinking in.

    I personally have asked you many times for specifics so that I can explain to you in some way that you will understand what it is that you are doing wrong. But you steadfastly ignore my requests to you for information.

    So let's make this specific here. That flower picture you posted in this thread. You look on your computer and tell me the following -

    What is the file type ? Is it .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .png - what is it ?

    What is the file size ? Is it 157kb, is it 786kb, is it 1.2mb - what is it ?

    What is the picture size ? Is it 85 pixels x 70 pixels, is it 1250 pixels x 1080 pixels, is 460 pixels x 680 pixels ? What exactly is the size of that picture on your computer ?

    Now you answer those questions, and I can tell you how to fix your problem once and forever.

    Don't answer them, and there is absolutely nothing I can do to help you beyond what I have done already.

    So c'mon Bill - give us the info and put an end to your problem.

    What you think you used to be able to do or what you didn't used to be able to do is meaningless and it doesn't matter. It is only what you can do now that matters. So answer my questions and your problem will disappear.

    ok , guys, I figured it out. First off, I drove myself nuts with photobucket so I just gave up on that. I went to a site called fotoflexer and was getting my pics to inlarge with no problems till a few days ago. I had to post them one at a time , but they did work. All I had to do was use the slider they had and put it to 100% and they would inlarge for me. I went on last night and i guess they are the ones that changed it. the slider is still there, but now they have a place to put in the size of the picture that you want. I typed in 640x480 and uploaded the pic. It works now. I still have to put them up one at a time, but thats ok. sorry for all the confustion, I am a real computer dumb-dumb. thanks for all your help--BILL
