I have come across a small error on a walking liberty half dollar and I'm having a difficult time taking a pic. There was a thread on this forum a couple of weeks ago which had pic info, anyone know where it's at? Anyways the error is on lady liberty's hand and is difficult to capture. My problem is that I need to get a better shot as it's not that facinating but when I look under a magnifying glass it is. Her index and middle fingers are thinned out and the ring and baby fingers looks like balls under a magnifying glass. My pics are bad I know, any ideas?
There are multiple tricks one can employ. While I am certain there is a good, if not several, camera threads at CT, there is one I have contribute to on LCR. Maybe a post there can help? It can be found HERE ...And if there's a good thread at CT, maybe someone can post a link?
Does anyone have any walker half dollar pics? I'm fairly new to getting into collecting walking liberty half dollars and as far as I can tell these were minted with very few errors. Does anyone have a pic of a walking liberty with an error?? Anyone?
Right on! I just realized that I have two, 1942-S which has been posted and another 1942-D. I was wondering why the pic was not bringing up the fat balls of her ring finger and baby. The reason is there's two errors and two separate walkers. Here's a pic of the 1942-D I know the pics aren't clear enough, that's something I will work on as I'm just getting familiar with my camera.
