Hello everyone! Sorry to jump straight in on my first post with a whats it worth question but I really am curious! I have a 1999 1 Norwegian Krone coin in excellent condition that has had the hole in the centre punched off centre, please see attached pics and thanks for any advice!
Hi Nice catch These coins tend to bring a couple of hundred kroner on internet auctions. I don't know the demand for them currently - there are not too many Norwegian collectors interested in varieties and errors, but misstruck coins like that have been selling for up to 500 kroner (90 dollars) in the past. A lot of Norwegian collectors buy on ebay US, so you should list it there, if you are selling it. Thanks for the reply. I actually found this coin at the airport when i parked my car to go on holiday few weeks ago! I will try those sites and maybe list on the US ebay like you said. :thumb:
