I hope that is not the picture you used to decide to buy the coin - even though it is graded, some of those grade puppies(not just two centers) are ugly.

Updated: It's On the Way

Here it is, my new 1868 2 Cent. Not really happy with the obverse pic, the reverse came out OK. Winter is coming, a good time to work on coin pictures.

Nice but you never mentioned the price. At times a really high price makes a coin look great. Sort of like how other people look when you had to much to drink. Want to say how much?

I think I'm going to try to get a MS example later on this year.

 

There's a lot of 1864 and 1865's out there that have great eye appeal and a reasonalble price.

 

It's fine...I'm getting through. They have begun loading us up with lab work which is why I'm not online as much lately...but I'm enjoying it.
