Recieved the first 5 sets today, they were on subscription. The shipping time was better then in the past, they must be getting some of there shipping problems worked out. All of the sets look good with no spotting or other issues. Bill G :smile
dreamer94: Man! That's truly awful, awful to hear. I just don't understand why the Mint goes to all the trouble to promote, produce, package and distribute for collectors and allows coins to pass to the public/buyer without inspection plus prepares for shipping / uses carriers who destroy a large number of products before it reaches the buyer.
THAT WAS THE VERY SAME GUY!!!! HE SAYS EVERYTRHING SEEN IN A RECENT MUMISMATIC CATALOGUE COST $3000.00:desk::headbang:
mine shipped the 8th and is suppose to be here on the 15th. curious how the sets come out. all my other mint sets this year have been real beauties.
Ok, I guess we can now consider these coins altered but on purpose by the mint. I wonder how you'd clasify that one on a slabbed coin. I can just see a slabbed coin with the title "MS-68 (Naturally Toned by U.S. Mint Fairy Dust)"
Ordered mine. I have a question. How does the mint produce these mint sets before all the coins they contain are even released? If they've minted the last dollar and the last cent, why not just release them? Guy~
Mine showed up yesterday and looked great. No scratches, gouges, etc on them. Will be ordering two more sets on the 15th when I order the Lincoln chronicles set. Dave
I don't see a date on the above. Was this before their retooling of the Mint Sets or is it a current statement?
That announcement is being packaged with the recently released mint sets, not sure when they produced that statement or how it might relate to any retooling of mint sets.
