I believe it's 1855 MA (M & A in monogram) for Marseille. Left of the date should be a greayhound's head or an anchor, I'm not sure I see properly, but I seem to see the greyhound. Thus the reference in le franc VIII is # 116/26, mintage is 4.821.260 and the value for a G10 example is 15 € (approx 22 $ at today's rate) Hope taht helps Q
