Hindenburg Coins

Anyone know the value of these? I am looking to sell/trade and would appreciate input.

Nice Hindy's Zohar.... I never saw those before, they are nice images of the old field marshal. Alot better than the one I have. Traci :thumb:

 

Value? They are both 35/36mm in size.

 

I think the one I have sells for around $30. Could be more, but I do not know for sure.

 

I was also told the one I have like your's is a medal and not a coin.

 

Those aren't coins, they are medals.

As for value, I really couldn't say, don't have any medal books or old catalogs to go by. I'd say auction them off online or take offers.

Yes, I believe they are both medals by Goetz. The second one was a design he submitted for a competition to choose a 5Mark design. He didn't win, but they made a medal out of it.

 

Love these German coins, can't wait to get my hands on one of them.
Especially the Hindenburg ones, You've got a nice one Zohar.
