I have a collection of Tsar Nikolai II coins, but I would like to delve into Finnish sometime. They are much scarcer, and more difficult to find in BU grades.

    Nice pieces, thanks for sharing.

And unfortunately Chinese counterfeiters have also found Finnish coins recently. There are some examples of counterfeits (mostly from Ebay) from a Finnish coin forum's counterfeit topic:

At the moment, quality of counterfeits is bad but I have a feeling that it will be better in the near future. Of course there are lot of easy dates and some coins are common in better grades, but be aware of these if you buy them from internet auctions.

Thanks for posting those fakes. They generally look terrible, but no doubt the quality will improve. I wonder if they'll ever be able to duplicate the surface/color of the copper coins from this period? We'll see.
