pawn shop Episode - $20 Star note...

    Wondering what your thoughts are on the 1914 $20 Note numbered E99998 X(star).

    A collector evaluated the bill, which was in good condition for a circulated bill, and estimated the value at $1000.

    The Pawn Shop dealer offered $550 (then some back and forth) before the deal was cut at $800...

    I saw an episode of that show last week. The haggling is so fake!

    That note was still in the shop as of Thursday with a price tag of $1100. Don't know enough about paper money to know if thats reasonable. But, they did have some silver at about spot.
