I registered in the hopes of using that $100 off special they were promoting on your 1st purchase and I totally missed out on it due to internet problems and not placing bid ahead of time...

I am wondering if they are having any other specials and sinceI have not actually made my 1st purchase to get said special

I know I could call but being new to them I wonder if they would just tell me to go else where as I may in their eyes be a low $$$ maker for them
    being new and all

any ideas or places to go to check for info and also all known info posted here would be greatly appreiciated

I actually think the folks at TT are very cool to deal with. You should try to contact Irma or one of the staff and explain if necessary.

I have not called myself yet, but if I had to, I would. Those guys have been around a long time -- they're professionals. And by the way, Teletrade has much to offer in the lowball range (A.K.A. my budget). I joined to take advantage of the offer, but I'm already gearing up to spend a few more dollars there maybe next Sunday....

I am unimpressed with teletrade--add the seller and buyer fees, and the cost is sky high. Ebay is better IMO, and the auction houses are best for hi-dollar items.

    I like Teletrade.
eBay doesn't have a lot of the items on my wantlist, or if they do, they are in a store and WAY overpriced.
Heritage and the other auction houses often have items on my wantlist but in much higher grades, therefore too pricy.
Teletrade is a nice middle-of-the-road fit. Right coins in the right grade therefore at the right price.

Yes, I still suffer sticker shock at the buyer's fee and S&H, but I'm learning to adjust.

That's an apt description. I don't buy there much anymore, but I agree they are easy to deal with. My only complaint is I can't inspect the coins in hand; I have to rely on photos.
