Mine definitely has a wolf in the tailpipe! See it?

You're kidding, right? I can't always tell if you're serious.

I think a lot of dies have the wolf head, but these coins are mostly off-center.

LOL, Donna, yes. I am. I always like my humor as wry and dry. Laconic if possible.

Different subject: great pic of you under statue! Big fun!

I am confused. Are you talking to me or to @Cachecoins? I am the one whose experience with the "just sold" coin was with Mr. Henzen (although I didn't make his identity public; you did!) -- not @Cachecoins. Unless @Cachecoins' experience was also with Henzen? That would be an interesting coincidence! In any event, I never said I didn't believe Mr. Henzen's explanation. My only thought is that he needs to do a better and faster job of taking down listings after a coin is sold. I am sure there is a way of arranging that to happen automatically.

I posted a reply that linked to the profile of the seller, and another that linked to similar coins that were not as special...it was removed by the moderator.

and my scale weight definitely has a wolf... until I have my second cup of coffee.

@Cachecoins I am sorry you missed a chance to pick up a nice coin. I waited a while and found a nice upgrade. Since then I have seen several at modest prices at auctions. Be patient and another good one will present itself.

Speaking of dealers who don't promptly remove listings of sold coins: I just noticed that my C. Censorinus denarius with a desultor on the reverse, which I purchased from Munthandel G. Henzen almost two months ago, is still listed on MA-Shops as available for sale. So it does legitimately happen, whatever the explanation may be.
