1883 nickle

    My opinion is that it is a nice coin that just barely falls short of XF. I say VF-35. The color looks a little funny.

    I'd pay $15+ for it. Nice looking coin, especially in a group that's known to have more culls then decent pieces!

    I would say VF35 to XF40.

    Looks like it was cleaned before , per the funny silver coloring around the obverse wheat stems , and date , JMO , but the coloring is off .

    Hard to say, does the coin have any luster left ? Can't tell by the pics. It appears to have some light wear, so if the luster is still there I'd say AU.

    There appears to be a small amount of luster. Here is a crop of the original that I think shows how it looks.

    I think a nice solid 45 coin, maybe a 50 on a good day

    The 1883 N/C is a VF - cleaned worth about $10
    the 1910 is a little nicer maybe XF/AU running closer to $25-$35

    Both are keepers.....
