This silver 50 centavo from the phillipines was minted by the U.S. in 1921.It appears in good to very good condition.Any help will be appreciated.
One of 2,316,763 minted in .750 silver. Actual silver weight is 0.2411 oz. Bullion value around $4.11. I have no up to date info on a possible value as a collecyible.
The latest Krause lists this as only bullion value in F condition. Krause is terribly out of date on many prices but would suspect this one might be fairly accurate. Coins from this country are enjoying a lot of popularity now though.
I'd venture at LEAST $5 bullion-wise, could reach up to 10 on Ebay with junk silver buyers overvaluing it. I've seen the Philippines silver 1 pesos in same condition go up to 15-20 dollars.
