    I think you need to go rabbit hunting or at least go and watch them....

    This is more like a rat but a ferrit seems good too

    It looks more like a Chipmunk to me, otherwise called a Ground Squirrell in Tennessee or a Mountain Boomer in West Virginia! Some West Virginians call them West Virginia Mountain Lions since they make as much noise as a Mountain Lion when they running through the Fall leaves.
