My coins got stolen!

    Thanks God not my collection, but my doubles I had for trade.

    They broke into my house while we were at supermarket... this sucks. :(

    Very sad to hear this story from Paraguay. If they stole anything that is valuable & can be identified, please post the identifying items here.

    Terrible!! I really hate hearing about fellow collectors being ripped off!!. Heck, my coins are my babes so I feel for you!. :(

    Be sure to keep an eye out on craigslist!!

    Sorry to hear that bad news.

    The only good thing is that it's a reminder for all collectors to think about their own security and what they can lose to a criminal.

    that sucks.

    Make a police report, and you may be able to get a few $'s form insurance, but, it may also be possible to write it off on your taxes, read up on 'casualty losses.'

    As noted the good part is no one was hurt or worse. A neighbor of mine was not that lucky. He learned the hard way that the best security is to not advertise your valuables by telling anyone of them.
    Hopefully something may happen where they get returned but again, be happy no one was hurt.
