A couple weeks ago I posted that I would like to see the mint bring back the Buffalo nickel for a year as a "retro" issue. Not exactly what I had hoped for but the next best thing , one of the recomended designs for the 2005 nickel reverse is a grazing Bison. I hope its approved.
Well, I can see the relationship between the American bison, and the "Western Expansion" theme. Probably not a bad idea.
