Looks promising. Can we get two more pictures? One from another angle and another showing MM positioning...

Doesn't look like the-012, it's closer to the -010. A clearer shot would help.

It could be 010, D/D west, but not 012 the positioning is off. The MM appears damaged and I fear it took a hit and is either making the MM looked doubled or will hinder attribution. Nevertheless, at this point I am inclined to say it is a RPM west. RPM attribution is still somewhat new to me so I could be wrong. If the pics were shot with a scope I think I would know for sure, but that isn't an option.

I'll wait and see what others say...

Very nice find, Bill! Good eyes. You are getting better at this all the time. RPM's finding(especially the late 80's pennies) are hard to spot for the most part. I always have to do headstands before I can get the right angle to spot them.

    Congrats on you find!

Have you tried, using markers and MM positioning, to determine which RPM this could be? Go to Coppercoins.com and if you can positively verify it as one, let us know. If it is not listed there, I think you should email your images to an attributer and see what they say and then possibly mail it to them for attribution. If you want a name or two PM me. It looks like a RPM but I hate to say it is definite without an in-hand examination. If it's new, it will be listed in the files with your name as the collector who found it. Good luck.

thanks for all the positive feedback. I will do a search to see if this is a new one. If only I could tell the difference between (MD) and (DDO). that would be great. I have a 1973-s up now that I thought for sure was DDO , but again I was wrong!!!!! made my heart jump when I first saw it!!!! but!!!!! sooner or later I will know the difference, thanks-- BILL
